The reason for rewarding the Sewerage System Office was their proactive attitude for assisting citizens to find root causes of problems and eliminate any inconvenience. As specified in the evaluation mechanism of the Executive Yuan for the "The Public Oversight Program in Public Works Projects", the spirit of actively serving the people for quickly detected truths which might not be attributed to any project of the City Government, as well as problems traced and corrected efficiently, were both helpful for the promotion of the government’s image.
