Chief Personnel Officer Jen-Fu Lin from the Department of Personnel of New Construction Office, Public Works Department, Taipei City Government, awarded with 2012 Outstanding Personnel.

Introduction:
1.The New Construction Office’s employee retirement and resignation bonus system proposal has been drafted to increase work efficiency and reduce manpower cost. After numerous communication and negotiation sessions with enterprise unions, the City Government issued an agreement letter Fu-Shou-Ren-Guan-Zi No.10113501300, dated the 30th of August 2012, for the employee retirement and resignation bonus system.
2.Duty management has been implemented, paperless leave application enforced and fingerprint access swipe card machine promoted. After conducting numerous coordination sessions and advocacies with branch offices, maintenance teams and enterprise unions, 17 fingerprint access swipe card machines were eventually installed successfully on schedule and went into smooth operation, greatly helping attendance and overtime management.
3.The New Construction Office’s employee performance recognition system has been formulated to promote the harmonious relationship between employers and employees as well as boost employee morale. The system was implemented from 2011 and has been well received by all employees.
