For this question, citizens may verify by the inscriptions on the cover; if it shows [Private Sewage], then its installation and maintenance belong to the property owner; if it shows [Taipei Sewerage], its maintenance unit will be the Maintenance Division of SSO. Citizens are not allowed to open or adjust or move such covers; arbitrary connection without review and inspection by SSO is not allowed; a fine will be imposed for any arbitrary connection discovered by SSO and failure to improve after the deadline notified by SSO for improvement. For application for connecting to the public sewerage pipeline, please call Taipei Citizens’ Hotline 1999 or notify Operation Division of SSO (2597-3183 Ext. 188, 112, 113, 115, 120, or 125). SSO will help you to carry out connection-related issues.
