According to Item 1 of Subparagraph 1 of Article 7 of the “Taipei City Handling Public Construction Removal Compensation and Autonomous Ordinance”, it states” “Legal building removal compensation fee: Compensation shall be according to the reconstruction price. Where the competent authority reaches an agreement with the owner of the legal building via the purchase at a negotiated price, an incentive pay equivalent to 20% of the removal compensation fee is to be additionally provided.” 」

For example: When an owner of a legal building can originally collect the building removal compensation fee (i.e. the reconstruction price) at an amount of NT$ 1,646,000, after the promulgation and implementation of the Autonomous Ordinance, such owner can further receive an additional amount of NT$ 329,200 as the agreement incentive pay.
