According to Item 2 of Subparagraph 2 of Article 7 of the “Taipei City Handling Public Construction Removal Compensation and Autonomous Ordinance”, it states: “For an existingillegal building, the portion of the removal area of each floor below the 3rd floor and within 165 square meters, the fee is calculated based on 70% of the legal building reconstruction price. For the portion where the removal area of one single floor exceeds 165 square meters and the removal area above the 4th floor, the fee is calculated based on 50% of the legal building reconstruction price.”
