The Engineers and Experts Consultation Service Team of the city government is divided into the “Taipei City Engineers and Excerpts Consultation Service Team” and the “Taipei City Soil and Water Conservation Service Team”:

1.The purpose of the “Taipei City Engineers and Experts Consultation Team” is to provide engineering and professional technical consultation service to all agencies, schools and citizens of the city in order to provide assistance in resolving engineering and professional technical doubts and confirming engineering demands, and it is jointly formed by the Taipei Professional Civil Engineers Association, Taipei Structure Engineering Association, Taipei Professional Environmental Engineers Association, Taiwan Professional Electrical Engineers Association R.O.C., Taipei Applied Geological Engineers Association, Taipei Soil and Water Conservation Engineers Association, Taipei Hydraulic Engineers Association and Taiwan Professional Geotechnical Engineers Association. Furthermore, the Taipei Soil and Water Conservation Engineers Association, Taipei Hydraulic Engineers Association and Taiwan Professional Geotechnical Engineers Association additionally station at the Taipei City Soil and Water Conservation Service Team of the Geotechnical Engineering Division (3F, No. 300, Songde Road, Xinyi District, Taipei City) of the Public Works Department of Taipei City Government in the morning period of every Tuesday to provide the consultation service. The method of consultation service provided is described in the following:

(1)The Taipei Professional Civil Engineers Association, Taipei Structure Engineering Association, Taiwan Professional Electrical Engineers Association R.O.C. assign personnel in shift to provide relevant consultation service via the field visit or telephone call method. The service location is at the Unified Bidding Center at 3F south wing of Taipei City Hall every Wednesday from 9:00AM to 12:00PM. 

(2)In addition, the Taipei Professional Environmental Engineers Association and Taipei Applied Geological Engineers Association provide consultation via the telephone booking method. Applicants can contact the Department via telephone first, followed by contacting the engineers of the aforementioned associations for the consultation service.

(3)For the above consultation, if an applicant has the need for field survey, the field survey time will be in the afternoon period of every Wednesday in principle. Applicants are requested to fill out the consultation application form with relevant information, followed by applying for the field survey consultation service. 2.The purpose of the “Taipei City Soil and Water Conservation Service Team” is to protect the slope land water and soil resources and to prevent disasters. The team provides legal consultation service and field water and soil conservation technical guidance to citizens free of charge, and it is jointly formed by the Taipei Professional Civil Engineers Association, Taipei Soil and Water Conservation Engineers Association, Taipei Hydraulic Engineers Association and Taiwan Professional Geotechnical Engineers Association assigning personnel in shifts. The service hours is from 9:00AM to 12:00PM in the morning of every Tuesday, and relevant engineering consultation service is provided via the field visit or telephone call method (for consultation location, please refer to the consultation shift timetable). The service location is at 3F, No. 300, Songde Road, Xinyi District, Taipei City.
